Audrey Roloff Reveals the Sentimental Meaning Behind Baby Ember’s Middle Name
Nothing is random when it comes to Audrey and Jeremy Roloff! The couple was very thoughtful when it came to naming their baby girl Ember Roloff, and that includes her middle name. It turns out the moniker, Jean, has an incredibly sentinemtal meaning for the couple and their relationship, and Audrey shared the sweet story during an Instagram Q&A on July 10.
“Her middle name is after the main character in our favorite book A Severe Mercy,” explained Audrey when a fan asked if there was a story behind “Jean.” “It was the book that encouraged Jeremy to patiently and persistently pursue me. We read it together when we were dating. We’ve read it every year since. Jeremy is going on seven times this year!”

Fans had tons more questions about baby Ember, like what her fave food is. “That’s hard because I don’t know exactly what her favorite is, but she really likes cheese, she really likes scrambed eggs, and she really likes hummus,” said Audrey. That’s one healthy baby! When a fan asked Auj if she wanted more kids, she excitingly answered “duhh!”
When she finally does have more kids, we’re sure they’ll have equally thoughtful names. Audrey recently opened up about the story behind Ember’s first name, and it blew our minds. “Melting hearts since Sept(EMBER) of 2017. See what I did there?” she wrote. But there’s more. In a lengthy post, Audrey also described fire embers as glowing, enduring, revival, constant and loyal, and forerunners, all of which she thinks describes her baby girl perfectly! We have to agree, and we can’t wait to see what she comes up with for her neat baby!
