Though it happened on January 26, rapper Drake is just now getting some recognition over his most recent trip to McDonald’s. If you’re wondering what could possibly be exciting about a stop at a fast food spot, let us enlighten you. The 32-year-old supposedly gave two female employees a $10K tip each for their help … so yeah, we’d say that’s pretty exciting.

Several outlets initially reported that Drizzy dropped 20 grand total on the employees, based on a bystander’s account, but the actual number has been disputed. According to a rep for the national restaurant that spoke with Us Weekly, the real dollar amount wasn’t quite as high.

“Despite early reports, McDonald’s learned that the amount Drake tipped each employee was $100 not $10,000,” the rep said.

The original Twitter user who spotted the rapper that Saturday evening has stayed pretty firm in his original retelling of the situation, despite other supposed “confirmations” on the dollar amount.

“[And] since y’all want to believe a certain individual (who wasn’t there) who apparently contacted a McDonald’s ‘PR team’ (who also wasn’t there) — this didn’t happen inside. He came through the drive-thru first [and] only came inside (with his security guards) to use the bathroom,” the user detailed on January 31 in response to his original tweets.

“One of the employees (who I know since I visit that particular location often) turned to me as he and his security guards walked in (after going through the drive-thru) and whispered what just happened as the other female employee started crying hysterically in the back,” he concluded his more detailed round of tweets.

The user originally tweeted a simple, “Just saw Drake in McDonald’s… crazy,” on January 26, followed by a second tweet detailing the money aspect of the interaction. “And he gave two female employees $10,000 each… in cash.”

While the jury is technically out on exactly how much money these lucky ladies were graced with, all we can say is we’d take anywhere from $100 to $1 million from Driz. Bring it on, buddy.
