They just want to be together. Steven Frend and Olga Koshimbetova were first introduced to fans on 90 Day Fiancé in its sixth season, and they’ve been trying to live together as a family with their son pretty much ever since. Now, Steven has offered an update on Olga’s visa situation, and fans might be surprised with what he shared. Check out the gallery below to learn more.
Steven, 21, and Olga, 21, were the youngest of all the couples on 90 Day Fiancé’s season 6. The duo met on the beach when Olga was vacationing in the United States for the summer.

Uh Oh
Things quickly got serious for this couple when Olga discovered she was pregnant after just about a month of them being together. Suddenly, they faced a choice a lot of people with an unplanned pregnancy do, except they had the added stress of their different nationalities to deal with as well.

Working it Out
Much of their journey on 90 Day Fiancé involved waiting to hear if her K-1 VISA had been approved and navigating such a new relationship with the reality of welcoming a baby so early on as well.

Delays, Delays, Delays
TLC cameras documented Steven’s first trip to Russia to visit Olga and to be present for the birth of their son, Alex. But they still awaited Olga’s visa approval. To make matters worse? Steven revealed that he didn’t apply for Olga’s visa when he said he did, which delayed the process further.

Waiting …
Back on January 29, a source told In Touch that Olga and Steven were “currently waiting” for the embassy to contact Olga to schedule her interview. If she passed, she would be granted the K-1 visa and be able to travel to the United States as Steven’s fiancée.

Tough Situation
The couple clearly tries to make the most of their tough situation by getting visits in. Steven posted the sweetest photo of himself with his son on March 11 captioned, “Our 5am mornings #fromrussiawithlove #proudfather ♥️” proving that he was able to get some cuddles in with his little boy.

Taking a Toll
But not being together as a family all the time has got to be taking a toll on this little family. So, is the wait almost over?

Hooray!
Steven shared the news on April 9 via his Instagram Story that Olga actually does have her visa now. Such great news!

Not Much Longer
“Sorry I’ve been on a [social media] break while I work on plans,” he wrote. “I’m in the U.S. now, Olga will be here in a week or [two].” That’s definitely a positive update in what has likely been a very long process for this couple!

That’s Not All!
But that’s not all … Steven then added, “She already has her visa. Now we only need the plane tickets.” So close, and yet so far!

Tough Call
However, Steven also had a sad update to share. “P.S. I had to leave Russia without Olga early or I was going to lose my job.” That was probably such a tough call to make.

Not Yet
So this couple still has a little further to go before they reach the finish line. But before long, they’ll get to be a family with their baby boy.

Kudos
This couple has been through so much, and they’re still trying to make it work. We really do commend them, because not all 90 Day Fiancé couples seem to put in half the effort they have.

Soon
Will you be waiting to see how it all ends? We’re definitely curious how Steven and Olga will celebrate when they’re finally back in the U.S. and with their little boy — hopefully once and for all.
