She’s celebrating a huge milestone! Singer Demi Lovato had fans extremely worried after she suffered a near-fatal drug overdose back in July, but it seems like she is doing better than ever. On Friday, January 25, Demi took to Instagram to celebrate her 6-month sobriety mark, and the 26-year-old was also spotted out leaving the gym on the same day. Demi took a pic of a bit chunk of a yummy-looking cake along with a sweet note from her team, celebrating the big sobriety milestone.

She also shared a pic of a new keychain that proudly displayed how long she’s been sober.

On July 24, 2018, Demi was hospitalized after she was found unconscious in her home due to a near-fatal overdose.

After she recovered from her overdose, she was immediately entered rehab and she remained in treatment until November.

On New Year’s Eve, Demi reflected on her overdose. “So grateful for the lessons I’ve learned this year,” Demi wrote in an Instagram Story. “I will never take another day in life for granted, even the bad ones. Thankful for my fans, friends, family and everyone who supported me throughout this year. God bless.”
