Deepak Chopra and women’s clothing brand EBY are teaming up to help those struggling with mental health amid the coronavirus pandemic. The partnership will provide three free months of Chopra’s “Love in Action” initiative to empower women to realize their full potential.

The two organizations wanted to do something special to help when they learned that “women, particularly single mothers, have been severely and disproportionately affected by the public health crisis.” With women losing their jobs at a higher rate and suffering from higher suicide cases, the course is designed to help people overcome emotional turbulence, which is more useful than ever in this unprecedented time.

“Mental hygiene is at the center of our overall psychological and emotional well-being,” says Gabriella Wright, co-founder of Chopra Foundation’s “Never Alone” initiative for suicide prevention and mental wellbeing. “Women, who are the heartbeats of their families and communities, need more so than ever before to be empowered to create the mental space for themselves and their loved ones.”

Eva Longoria, Michelle Rodriguez, Julianne Hough and Camille Kostek have joined EBY and Deepak in their “Love in Action” series as well, using empathy to shed light on what causes emotional distress and to share the tools and techniques they use to help overcome it. Each woman will share her own story with Deepak to show women they aren’t alone.
