Fans of 90 Day Fiancé were introduced to David Toborowsky's daughter, Ashley, earlier this week, and let's just say, she didn't give off the best first impression! On the newest episode of the hit TLC show, Ashley and his fiancé, Annie Suwan — who is from Thailand — met for the first time, and fans thought she was pretty disrespectful. Now, she's opening up in an interview with Auntie's Advice to defend her actions.

"I may come off as harsh on the show to my dad," she began. "Some people might see me as disrespectful and that’s okay. I’ve had a very crazy relationship with my dad. We were very close when I was younger. It was because he was always gone all the time and we missed him, and we wanted him. But as we got older, we saw what the reality was with him." She added, "He is very much about himself, and his travels, and his life."

Based on recent episodes, it sounded like David wanted to make amends with his children, but Ashley wasn't buying it. "I really think the truth needs to be out there. He might say he wants to be back with his kids but that’s not the truth." She continued, "He’s been a very selfish person his whole life. Yes, he loves his children but does he want to be responsible for people? No, he doesn’t want to be responsible for people. He wants to do what David wants to do."

Although the show was recently considered scripted, Ashley claimed that her father is accurately portrayed. "An a–hole? Yeah. Authentically? Yeah. He can’t fake that one. Everyone can see exactly what that is. That wasn’t scripted. That’s dad."
