The custody war is over… for now. After David Eason made a homophobic remark and lost his job on Teen Mom 2, his ex Olivia Leedham filed emergency papers to keep Jenelle Evans' husband away from their son Kaden, but on March 23, she closed the case, The Ashley's Reality Roundup reports. Despite the fact that the baby mama called his behavior "erratic and concerning," Olivia couldn't afford to keep fighting.

“She doesn’t have the money to go to court and fight [David and Jenelle] in court,” the insider explained. “She canceled the scheduled mediation and court dates and is going to follow the schedule that was in place before she filed [the emergency custody papers] in February.” However, David will have the added ability to spend full weekends with Kaden. “David will get to have him for overnights which hasn’t happened before,” the source said.

So, since Jenelle will be playing mommy for Kaden sometimes, will he appear alongside his half-siblings on the show? “The original rules will stay in place, and Kaden will not be filmed for Teen Mom 2," explained the insider. This will probably mean that we'll see a lot more of Kaden online, though. David posted several pics of him for the brief period in 2017 that David was spending more time with him.

"Daddy loves you so much Kaden!" he wrote in one caption. "We are so happy to be spending time with you lately and you are such an amazing kid! I can't wait to see what our future holds for us, my lil man!" It's been a rough road since then, but it sounds like the battle is finally coming to an end.
