If you’re a Vanderpump Rules fan, you know ‘Crazy Kristen’ better than you know a character in a world renowned novel. Kristen Doute has been a divisive personality on the Bravo TV show since the first season, but as seasons went on, she actually matured up and left her alter-ego behind — mostly, anyway. On the February 4 episode of Pump Rules, ‘Crazy Kristen’ decided to make a long overdue appearance, and NGL, seeing her spiral gave us a bit of nostalgia for the early days.

It all started when the 35-year-old former SUR employee got all ready to go to the Daily Mail party, which was happening at the same time as the opening party for Tom Tom, the new bar Lisa Vanderpump owns with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz. With all that partying going on, Kristen was sure she’d be making an appearance somewhere … that is, until she was told she wasn’t welcome.

She received a text message from Schwartz, 36, letting her know that Lisa was “adamant [she] shouldn’t come” to the event and was barring her from attending. Naturally, all hell broke loose from there. The James Mae founder was devastated to learn she wouldn’t be able to celebrate the new venture with her friends, and TBH, we don’t blame her. She cuddled up with her dogs and a bowl of pasta after receiving the news — a true mood.

The change of events led to what seems like a slight jump off the deep end for Miss Doute. In the preview for the February 11 episode, the girls take a wine tasting trip and Kristen doesn’t look sober for basically any of it. “Merlot is like, the basic bitch of wine,” she told the sommelier as she downed a glass. Yikes.

Her costar and BFF Stassi Schroeder gave it to us straight in her confessional: “Crazy Kristen isn’t coming, she’s here.” Looks like we have a lot in store for us next episode, y’all!
