Umm, that was quick! Cardi B deactivated her Instagram account on February 11 after people were upset that she took home a Grammy for Best Rap Album at the 2019 awards show. Now, the “Bodak Yellow” crooner is back on social media — with an exciting announcement, no less.

“OK, so I’m back from retirement,” she wrote on Wednesday, February 13. “I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with @brunomars. #twogrammywinningartist.” In the photo, the New York native, 26, is posing with her tourmate Bruno Mars, 33, and she is wearing a purple and black leather outfit, while the “24K Magic” pop star is sporting a more casual look — a green button-up shirt with striped pants.

It’s great to see that the former Love & Hip Hop: New York star is doing better. Shortly before she deactivated her page, she posted a cryptic message. “I used to want this s—t forever, you can have it back,” she said.

In a since-deleted video, she got vulnerable with her fans as to how she was feeling. “It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift someone else,” she said. “That’s not my style and that’s not what I’m with and I don’t support that. However, I’ve been taking a lot of s—t today … and I saw a lot of s—t last night. My album was always Top 10, No. 1 album as well.”

The brunette beauty continued to clap back at all the haters who said she didn’t deserve the coveted trophy. “I f—king worked my ass off, locked myself in the studio for three months my n—a and then went to sleep in my own bed sometimes for four days straight — pregnant,” she vented in the video. “Some songs couldn’t even get on the f—king album because my nose was so f—king stuffy from my pregnancy.” In the end, Cardi came out on top against fellow nominees Travis ScottPusha TNipsey Hussle and the late Mac Miller.

It looks like Cardi is back and better than ever and we definitely like it like that.
