Cardi B Was Kicked Out of a Hotel in Albany — Calls the Staff Racist on Instagram

You know where she at, you know where she be — not in her hotel! Rapper Cardi B was kicked out of her hotel in Albany, New York late last night by staff who accused her camp of “partying” and smoking weed. The 25-year-old popped off in a video obtained by TMZ, calling staff “racist mother f–kers” and “white piece of s–t.”

In the 30-second clip, Cardi knocked a platter of coffee cups out of a member of her entourage’s hands and can be seen exiting the hotel through its front doors. In the hours since, Cardi took to Instagram, as she so often does, to explain her side of the story.

“I’m not going for that,” she captioned the first in a series of IG videos. “Albany is known for being racist. Every single time n—– from New York get locked up and get sent upstate, they always complaining about C.O.’s beating them. And I really experienced that s–t yesterday,” the “Bodak Yellow” singer said.

After hotel staff noticed that the floor Cardi was staying on smelled like marijuana, the authorities were called. Cardi claims she was asleep at the time, denies participating, and insists that no one in her camp smokes.

“The cops came in the middle of the night, knocking on my manager and my door, talking about that we were smoking weed and we gotta get kicked out,” she continued. “Now, if you know me, I don’t even talk about smoking weed because everybody knows that I do not smoke weed.”

“None of my team members smoke weed,” she continued. “If they was to kick us out for something else, alright, but for weed, I’m not taking that because we do not smoke.”

“N—– just gonna pick, out of everybody on the floor — Caucasians — that it was us, that we were smoking the weed? In the middle of the night? That s–t’s not f–king right.”

It appears Cardi had a busy night. Though she claims to have been asleep when authorities came to her door accusing her camp of smoking, earlier in the night Cardi announced on her Instagram Story that she was single. But almost immediately after posting, she explained in a follow-up post that she and her boyfriend Offset are still together.

Albany PD has since contacted TMZ, denying Cardi’s allegations of racism.
