Briana and Brittany DeJesus Aren’t Buying Javi Marroquin’s Public Apology After His Cheating Scandal

Illicit Affair

The drama all started on Saturday, August 17, when police came to the couple’s home after Javi, 26, called 911. Allegedly, the Teen Mom star needed help ejecting his sister.

Family Matter

Reports indicated that Javi’s sister, Lidia, 31, had been called over to help diffuse the tension between him and his fiancé after Lauren caught her man naked with another woman while they had people over.

Naked Truth

“Javi threw a party Saturday night with friends and gym members at their house,” a source close to the couple told Radar Online. “At some point, Lauren went upstairs to go to sleep.”

Red Handed

“When Lauren came back downstairs, she found Javi and a woman naked,” the source continued. She confronted him about it, and tension escalated to the point that Lidia was called.

House Divided

However, Lidia couldn’t calm the situation down. By the time the night ended, she’d been escorted off the property — and Lauren had seemingly called it quits with Javi, later unfollowing him on Instagram.

Making Amends

Though both stars stayed silent about their possible breakup, their social media behavior hinted that they were over — and then Javi dropped a major bomb with the public apology he wrote online.

Major Regrets

“Lauren, I’m sorry for my mistakes,” the father of two wrote in the post. “I’m sorry I broke your heart. I’m sorry I disrespected you. I’m sorry I took you for granted. I could say sorry for a million other things, but I’m sorry will never be enough.”

Daddy Issues

The star continued to apologize, claiming that he had “failed [his sons] as a father” and would “do everything in [his] power to become a better man” so that he can “be the example” for his kids and “no longer let any of [his] loved ones down.”

Fan Reaction

Though some fans were impressed by how eloquent the apology was, others simply rolled their eyes. “This guy is all talk,” one wrote. “Apologies without actions are just words.”

Throwing Shade

Brittany, 27, wasn’t impressed either. Though Briana, 25, didn’t directly address the drama, Brittany wasn’t above calling out her sister’s ex for continuing to be messy in relationships.

Called Out

“I think I’m saying this ’cause my ass is bored at home with my bonnet on and I ain’t got s–t better to do [at the moment] … but, like, why [is] his s–t always public?” Brittany tweeted on Monday, August 26.

Taking Shots

“Do people not believe in having certain things about their lives private?” she continued. “Just ’cause we’re all on TV for a second doesn’t mean the world gotta know EVERYTHING. But what do I know? I’m just a ratchet who lives in a cardboard box with their momma and lives off MTV checks.”

Shots Fired

Though Brittany and Javi used to be close friends while he was hanging out with Briana, their relationship fell apart pretty much around the same time that his relationship with her sister did, too.

Same Page

We don’t doubt that Briana felt the same way as her sister on this subject, too. Though she didn’t make any public comments — or even like her sister’s post — she did get in on the drama in a subtle way.

Not long after Javi posted his apology, Briana took to Twitter to share a post that only had one word in it. “Lmfaoooooooooo,” she wrote, letting her tweet speak for itself.

Petty Messages

On Tuesday, August 27, she chimed in again, this time retweeting a message another woman had written. “When a man respects you, you only have to tell him something once,” the tweet read. “Many arguments stem from [a] lack of change or growth.”
