Family Time! Ben Affleck Was Spotted Spending Quality Time With His Mother and Son Samuel

Three generations of love! Ben Affleck stepped out with his mom, Christine Anne Boldt, to spend some quality time with his son, Samuel, on Thursday, October 17. The three looked super happy to be in each other’s company.

The 47-year-old looked cool and casual in light wash jeans and a plaid button-down. He accessorized his look with blue sneakers and a grey blazer. The actor, of course, was wearing his favorite sunnies and looked very handsome with his salt and pepper beard. Grandma Christine looked stylish in black slacks and a navy cardigan. She wore a patterned blouse and suede loafers. As for the 7-year-old, he looked cute as ever in navy shorts and a blue zip-up hoodie. He was very on trend with his Velcro sneakers.

Ben is constantly seen bonding with his children and is often spotted out and about. The father of three takes his role as a dad very seriously and on Monday, October 14, he had to back out of a special screening of the reboot premiere of Jay and Silent Bob at the TCL Chinese Theater in L.A. to “take care of the kids,” an insider told In Touch.

Back in August, Ben celebrated one year sober and we are happy to hear he is thriving. “Ben is in a great place in his recovery and life,” a source close to the star told Us Weekly at the time. “He continues to want to be the best father and friend he can be.”

The source also shed light into Ben and ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s relationship, saying the two are doing “amazingly well at co-parenting.”

“They have shared a great summer with the kids, doing outings, travel, etc. They have a very trusting and special relationship,” the insider continued.

Previously, another source dished that Jen’s boyfriend, John Miller, has been a positive influence on the Good Will Hunting actor. “Jen having a boyfriend has been the best thing to happen to Ben and Jen in a long time,” the source told Us Weekly.
