Basketball Wife LaLa Vasquez Talks BFF Kim Kardashian
If there’s anyone who knows a thing or two about dating an NBA star, it’s LaLa Vasquez – wife of New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony!
But when it comes time to dish advice to BFF Kim Kardashian, who is dating New Jersey Nets basketball player Kris Humphries, LaLa says that Kim has it all under control. “You know it’s funny because I haven’t had to give her much advice. She’s probably given me more advice than I’ve given her,” the former MTV VJ tells In Touch at Pampers 50th birthday and their “Little Miracle Missions” campaign. “She seems to be really happy, and as her friend, that’s what’s most important to me.”
So what does LaLa think about Kim’s beau? “I love Kris. He’s a really great guy,” she adds.
And while LaLa is busy adjusting to life back in the Big Apple, and filming season two of her reality show, LaLa’s Full Court Life, which focuses on her family's transition to New York and will premiere this summer on VH1, the basketball wife says the first thing on her agenda is finding a place to call home! “We’re still living in a hotel, so my main priority is to find us somewhere to live, and I think once you find a place to live, everything kind of falls into place after that.”
