Hmm … thinking about someone specific, Cheryl Cole? The singer revealed some of her NSFW lyrics for her new song called “Let You” — which will be released on Friday, May 31 — and it seems like they could be about a special person.

The 35-year-old shared a preview of the track on her Instagram whereThe X Factor alum sang: “’Cause I let you / I let you put my hands on your body, every time / I give you what you wanted / When am I going to get mine? / ‘Cause we only got like this / ‘Cause I let you.”

Of course, fans immediately speculated that the lyrics were about Cheryl’s ex-boyfriend Liam Payne. One person wrote, “Put your hands on my body and swing that round for me @LiamPayne,” while another echoed, “OMG this is related to Liam’s song ‘Strip That Down.’” A third person chimed in, writing, “OMG this is similar to Liam’s song …”

The former One Direction member, 25, and Cheryl — who share their 2-year-old son, Bear — split in July 2018 after two years together.

Even though the couple couldn’t make it work, they are now focused on being the best parents to their little boy. “As a dad, I think one of the hardest parts at the start of it all is to feel as involved as possible,” the handsome hunk told Us Weekly on May 21. “One of my biggest tips I would say is cooking, because if you’re cooking, and you’re looking after her, and she’s looking after [your kid], then you’re looking after everybody. And you want to feel like that part of the unit … so, cooking was always a really big thing for me at the start.”

The “Familiar” crooner continued to gush about fatherhood. “My mum brought all my old toys to the house, and then Cheryl came one day to my house, and she was like, ‘Oh, he’s playing with this red car all the time. It was yours,'” Liam confessed. “I was like, ‘Is it a Jaguar?’ And it was my favorite car when I was [young]. So, he’s literally a little me.”

The mom of one also wanted to make it clear that she and Liam are on good terms. “There is no animosity, whatsoever,” she told the Daily Mail in January 2019. “We are learning all the time. And it’s good, it’s healthy. We’re just like any other couple that have gone through this, but we have a few more eyes watching us … just a few.”

Well, maybe Cheryl took some inspiration from real life.
