Talk about random! Piers Morgan and Liam Payne got into a heated Twitter feud over … Kylie Jenner? Yup, you heard that right.

On Tuesday, March 5, Forbes named the 21-year-old the youngest-ever self-made billionaire, but the journalist, 53, clearly didn’t agree with the prestigious title. “It’s not self-made, it’s because her sister made a sex tape,” he clapped back.

Liam, 25, decided to insert himself into the narrative and defended the makeup mogul. “I’m sorry, but Piers are you crazy,” he wrote on Tuesday, March 6. “Your [sic] only here because you talk s—t about everyone and make controversial outburst about people to get attention … at least @KylieJenner has her own business she built herself. Why not congratulate someone for once instead of knocking people?”

Since the Good Morning Britain cohost loves to bicker with celebrities on social media, he couldn’t help but fire back at the former One Direction member. “Hi Liam, a) She didn’t ‘build herself,’ she became rich and famous from her sister’s sex tape,” he said. “B) It’s ‘you’re.’”

But the drama didn’t stop there. “Sorry, could you say it louder from the back of the line of irrelevant people, please?” the X Factor alum said. Naturally, Piers couldn’t let him have the last word, so he wrote: “Mate, no offense, but I really wouldn’t play the relevancy card right now.”

The dad-of-four previously fought on the internet with J.K. Rowling, Kim Kardashian, Sophie Turner and Victoria Beckham, just to name a few. However, he recently met up with Ariana Grande to bury the hatchet after he made some comments about women’s sexuality that the Grammy winner disagreed with.

“So … we bumped into each other in a L.A. restaurant, she joined me for ‘a chat’ and two hours later we were still chatting,” Piers said. “We laughed, we argued, she cried, I nearly did, the drinks flowed and we bonded. Turns out, we really like each other. Weird. Thank u @ArianaGrande — next?”

Here’s to hoping that Piers and Liam make up real soon.
