Celebs, they’re just like us! La La Anthony has a lot of famous friends including the Kardashians. So, what’s her favorite part about hanging out with the clan? The 39-year-old revealed all the details.
“I have been friends with them for so long, before I can even remember, so it’s just like being with people you have known for so long and you’re comfortable with and you have the best time,” the brunette beauty exclusively told In Touch at The Glenlivet Drop Shop on Wednesday, May 8, in New York City. “The best part is when we met, we didn’t have kids, so it’s cool now to see all of the kids and they are growing up and going through their different phases of life. It’s always fun.”
She continued, “We are like, ‘Wow, where did all of these kids come from?’ Like all of a sudden, it’s just like kids everywhere, so yeah. It’s really cool.”
The TRL alum also hosted the afterparty for the Met Gala with her BFF Kim Kardashian, 38. “It was me, Kim, Serena [Williams], Travis [Scott] and Trevor [Noah],” she dished. “It was so much fun. We had a great time. It was at Up&Down, we had a really good time. We partied all night which is why I am walking like I can’t walk today. My feet hurt so badly.”
Prior to making an appearance at the prestigious soirée, La La hung out with Khloé Kardashian, Kim and Kanye West in California. “We just spent Easter together for Coachella, Easter Sunday, so we had a great time. Kiyan was there, all of the kids hanging out, it was just a fun weekend,” she said. Umm … so, how was it seeing Kanye live?! “It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen,” she added. “I want to continue to go back. It’s an amazing thing that I was just so happy to experience, especially at Coachella, that was like next level — so powerful, so amazing.”
Meanwhile, La La didn’t want to do anything crazy for Mother’s Day, so she explained that she was planning on having a low-key day with her son, Kiyan, 12. “So, I don’t really have any plans, which I am excited about because Kiyan and I, we just like to chill. Every day of our life is like, go, go, go, so it’s nice to have a day where you’re just like in bed, relaxing, doing absolutely nothing, so I am excited for that,” she revealed.
The mom of one also made it clear that she doesn’t need any materialistic gifts from her son. “He always makes me cool stuff, which I love,” she said. “You can buy things, but it’s like, it doesn’t really have any sentimental value. So, he will make me cards or pictures or just write me a letter, and those things I can keep forever, and that really means the most to me.”
Aw, we hope La La had an awesome day with her son. Now, drink up, girl! You deserve it.
