It's the most wonderful time of the year! The stars of Alaskan Bush People are reportedly getting in the holiday spirit by preparing for the release of their Christmas special. According to Alaskan Bush People Exposed, filming took place while the Brown family was briefly in Colorado during the first week of November.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like fans are excited about the upcoming episode — despite the fact that the season finale aired back in August. "Discovery is doing themselves no favors with these fake programs," one person wrote on Facebook. "I have just about lost faith in them. I look at their programs now with real suspicion and I am starting to pick up on more things that look 'staged.' I guess they don't really want to do the work involved in putting together a 'real' program. Too bad." Another added, "Why would you leave your mansion to go film a Christmas special in the freaking woods of Colorado? How stupid. Not to mention drag your sick wife there."

As previously reported, matriarch Ami Brown was diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year, and in a recent interview, the reality TV mama opened up about why she is remaining optimistic even though she only has a three-percent chance of survival. "I realized early into this that it’s very easy to want to give up and just die. And on the pessimist side, it could be my last days," she told People. "But I have the will to fight." She added, "Worrying about it only makes it worse. There is hope and that hope is having faith in God. You can’t give up. I tell people be happy. Just be happy. It’s a choice. Things can be hard and you just want to curl up but you have to shine."

Recently, the Browns got themselves a brand-spanking-new mansion in Beverly Hills, and it's so swagged out we can't believe that former cabin-dwellers live there. The $2.7 million mansion has it all, according to Radar Online: five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a master suite that has it's own jacuzzi, and gorgeous marble floors. However, the best part is the crystal clear in-ground pool and hot tub in the backyard, surrounded by pretty trees and flowers. It's a far cry from the Alaskan wild, that's for sure!

Alaskan Bush People's Christmas special airs Dec. 15 at 10 p.m. EST on Discovery.
