What a sad situation for everyone involved. In December 2017, A close friend of Chelsea Houska's was arrested for trying to have sex with a 14-year-old girl. Alex Bawek had recently found out his wife Brittnee Bawek was pregnant, which makes this even more appalling. Though the Teen Mom 2 star has never acknowleged the shocking arrest, a new report claims that despite everything, Brittnee has decided to support her husband.

"Right after that happened with her husband, she said she was sticking with him,” an insider told Radar. “I don’t know if that’s changed since.” The outlet says that a clerk for Lincoln County Court in South Dakota confirmed that neither Alex nor Brittnee has filed for divorce, so it would seem she's still standing by him. At this point, she's also probably a new mom, as Radar reports she was due in April, and we can only imagine how hard a decision like that is. It's certainly tough to raise a baby alone, but at the same time it doesn't sound like Alex should be around a kid, even his own.

Though Alex has yet to be found guilty, the evidence is pretty damning. He was arrested after a sting operation in which an undercover cop posed as a child and asked to meet up. Even after being told her age, Alex continued to try to meet and requested x-rated photos of the young teen. Eventually, they set a place and time, and Alex arrived to find a police officer waiting for him, To Catch a Predator style. He eventually admitted to the crime, and condoms were found in his car. So disgusting.

At this point, Brittnee and Chelsea have still stayed mum, and no new photos with Brittnee have been added to Chelsea's Instagram. We assume that's just out of respect for her privacy, and we're sure that Chelsea is still providing all the support she can in this difficult time.
