Hey guys, remember when we told you that Adam Busby actually sees all the mean comments people leave on social media? Well, he especially sees them when they’re left on his Instagram posts. And, FYI, it seems like he’s getting tired of all the hate. Recently, the comments have been coming from fans after he joked that he and his family are “country,” and some of his followers are more than ready to debunk that notion.

On Wednesday, Oct. 24, Adam shared a picture of the quints, Blayke, a friend, and mom Danielle Busby all checking out a grate in the sidewalk. Apparently it’s an uncommon site for the OutDaughtered stars, because the kids seemed fascinated by it. “The moment you find that your family knows nothing about city life…” he captioned the pic, adding the hashtag #wecountry.

Fans didn’t exactly agree, though — and they were quick to let the reality star know. “Don’t y’all live in League City?” wrote one of the followers, with others adding, “Lol yeah… Which is twenty miles from Houston, the fourth largest city in the country. But they’re ‘country.'” Even more joined in, saying, “League City ain’t the country,” and, “Lol League City is not country!”

It got to the point where the dad of six actually had felt like he had to explain himself and respond. “It’s more country than the city,” he told one user. Replying to another, he wrote, “Well it definitely isn’t a big city with high-rises… It still baffles me how critical people are on here at the smallest things sometimes.”

Of course, that lead to even more hate and criticism. “No one was being critical,” snapped back one fan. “There’s a huge difference between making a statement and being critical… There’s also a huge difference between League City and ‘country.'” It seems like this family just can’t catch a break.
