They’re ready to have a steamy summer! Over Memorial Day weekend, 90 Day Fiancé star Luis Mendez and his new wife enjoyed the holiday together. After tying the knot back in September 2018, the couple have kept their relationship pretty low-key, often staying off of social media. However, every now and then, Luis gives us a glimpse into his life with his mystery wife. On Sunday, May 26, he decided to do just that, letting fans in on how he and his bride spent the holiday weekend. Check out the gallery below to get the latest update on the couple.

Luis is a private person.

Despite sharing his relationship with Molly Hopkins with the cameras on their season of 90 Day, he’s decided that his second marriage is better off taking place behind closed doors. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t happy with his new lady.

He’s gushed about their love.

“She changed all life to happiness,” he said about his bride after confirming the news of their relationship to In Touch. “I love this girl so much. She is so amazing.”

And he’s shared the occasional photo.

In early May, he posted a selfie that the two had snapped. Though Luis is playing it cool, his wife is grinning for the camera. It’s clear that these two have plenty of love between them.

Things have started heating up.

After initially being shy to share pictures, the star has become a little more public lately. Later on in May, he even shared a video of the two of them out in a club as he playfully stuck his tongue out and she reached for him to rub his chest.

Their chemistry is palpable.

The two only went Instagram official in November, despite getting married in September, but this photo of them kissing while all dressed up is clearly making up for lost time.

Luis is all smiles.

Ever since the couple got together, it seems like Luis has been happier than ever, grinning in selfies, smiling with his family, and posting all kinds of excited emojis whenever he’s fawning over his lady.

It’s love.

Despite the fact that Molly has thrown some serious shade in the past, even alleging that Luis’ new lady may be pregnant, the couple isn’t letting it get to them. “I have no contact with [Molly],” Luis told In Touch in October 2019. “I just want to be happy.”

It seems like he is.

In addition to showing off his wedding ring in snaps, he’s even been writing photo captions like, “Happy life, happy wife.” It’s corny AF, but it’s also super cute.

He’s working on himself, too.

Ever since his split, it seems like Luis has been hitting the gym and taking care of himself more. In January, he shared that he was looking forward to having a strong, happy year in 2019.

And he was right!

“Thanks, God, for everything you do in my life,” he shared on Instagram. “The best of this year is coming on for me.” In the months since then, it’s clear he and his wife have only gotten happier.

Now, they’re getting ready for summer.

With life heating up as the new season approaches, Luis and his bride are preparing in their own way — and that included taking the long weekend to celebrate the beautiful weather.

On Sunday, May 26, the two posed for a photo together that Luis shared on his Instagram Story. “Starting this hot summer,” he captioned the shot as he rocked shorts and a tee while his wife wore a matching two-piece set.

They looked good!

Most importantly, they looked super comfortable together. Luis had his arms around his wife as she grinned at the camera. It seems likely that they were enjoying a day out with friends and family.

They’re living their lives.

Back in winter, the couple faced a lot of hate from fans who questioned whether their relationship was real. But as the seasons change, Luis is leaving the negativity behind.

His Instagram is a hate-free zone.

“Everyone wants to be happy,” he told fans in January. “Me too. 😍😍😊😊😊😊😘😘😘 Enjoy this winter. I don’t have time for hate, bro. 😉” Now that it’s summer, he’s all about that positivity life.

He’s feeling free.

And, finally, so is his ex. In her episode of 90 Day Fiancé: What Now?, Molly admitted she’d never felt “more liberated.” We’re glad both of the exes are moving forward — and maybe Molly will find herself having a hot summer, too.
