Why do people have to be so cruel? On June 1, a hater responded to a Q&A that 90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger did on Instagram Stories just to body-shame her. Luckily, the 25-year-old reality star is mature beyond her years and had a totally zen response to the hater. Scroll through the gallery below to see her perfectly positive clapback.
Nicole started her day on a high note by spending time with her dad for breakfast. She decided to spread the good vibes by asking fans what they were up to on their Saturday, and most of the responses were super sweet.

Like this fan, who shared the good news that they were visiting their long-distance boyfriend in Spain. Nicole could totally relate, of course, saying, “Awww I’m so happy for y’all! Soon that will be me and Azan [Tefou, her fiancé] finally together again!”

Unfortunately, one rotten egg decided they would try to harsh her mellow instead of spreading the love. After she mentioned having breakfast with her dad, they rudely responded, “Did you have a salad? Wait … you don’t know what that is. SMH.”

Instead of feeding into the hate, Nicole decided to take the high road, and we’re willing to bet the commenter felt pretty dumb after reading what she had to say.

“For breakfast? That’s a little odd but to each their own I guess. I had pancakes and I really enjoyed my morning with my dad,” she said, even throwing in a heart emoji for good measure.

For the record, Nicole has posted multiple photos of her meals online since beginning her fitness journey a couple of years ago, and they’re often complete with salads or veggies.

While Nicole has promoted products like Teami detox tea, she’s also been working super hard to get in shape the old fashioned way. “I don’t believe quick fixes will ever replace my workouts and my healthy cooking,” she told fans in April.

And she’s been at it a while! Back in May 2017, she wrote, “Sometimes things can get hard, you just have to remember to stay strong because it’s all worth it in the end #fitness #motivation #workout.” It looks like she applies that thought process to everything in life!

Her hubby Azan has had her back, too. In 2017, she wrote, “My fiancé has been so great at supporting me and helping with my exercises. I am so lucky to have him in my life. I love him so much and I just want you to know how much I appreciate you babe😚 .”

Despite his support, many fans still question Azan’s motives, so Nicole has gotten pretty good at handling that criticism, too!

When one fan claimed Azan wasn’t as into Nicole because he doesn’t post pics of her, she clapped back saying, “Azan does have an IG, but he is not active on it right now because that’s what he chooses. I do not care that he doesn’t post me on his IG often because HE DOESN’T USE IT.”

And when fans accused him of using her for money, she said, “I DO NOT send Azan money regularly.”

At this point, Nicole is a pro at handling hate, and she says it’s all thanks to just choosing to keep negative people away. “I do not listen to negativity or let it into my life anymore. This is why I delete negativity [in] comments directed towards me and my family. Also, I block others who are downright rude,” she said. It looks like she simply had a little extra time on June 1.

The same day, Nicole shared a quote that inspires her, and it’s easy to see why. “Love and peace of mind do protect us. They allow us to overcome the problems that life hands us to survive … to live now … to have the courage to confront each day. – Bernie Siegel”

Nicole’s fitness journey has been progressing amazingly, and we’re glad that she’s confident enough in her progress to ignore rude people questioning her eating habits.

Keep up the great attitude, Nicole, and enjoy your cheat meal!
