’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Laura’s Son, Liam, Has ‘Some Complaints’ About Her Husband, Aladin
Not the best impression. 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way stars Laura and Aladin Jallali are already legally married, but it seems Laura’s son, Liam, is not ready to accept their marriage. In a sneak peek for the Monday, September 23, episode, Aladin and Liam took a guys’ trip to the local bath where they addressed their issues head-on.
At the bath, Aladin tried to make small talk with his stepson. “You have [places] like this place in the U.S.?” the personal trainer asked, and Liam responded, “I’ve never been to one in the states, so it’s my first time.”
Even though hanging out with his stepdad could be potentially awkward, Liam explained why it was important for him to get some one-on-one time with his mom’s husband. “I just want to make sure that Aladin knows what he’s getting into and that I know what my mother is getting into,” Liam told producers.
Before changing into their swimwear, Aladin and Liam sat down for a chat. “You know, it’s like tradition, this, for our wedding,” the Tunisia native said. “You know, like, you come to the bath with all your friends, you know? When you prepare for your wedding, it’s a lot of stress. A lot. So this day, like, the day of relax, you know?”
But Aladin said he couldn’t relax until he had a talk with Liam about the way he had been behaving ever since he arrived in Tunisia — by choosing to stay in his hotel room alone instead of meeting Aladin’s family or joining Laura, Aladin and his family during the first two days of their traditional Tunisian wedding celebration. “He come across the world, and then he will prefer to stay in the hotel. It’s unbelievable,” Aladin said. “It’s bother me because he’s not show up for two days in my wedding. It’s weird, right?”
Aladin told Liam that he is feeling a little upset because of Liam’s decision not to partake in the festivities, and Aladin suggested that Liam lied when he told his mother he was feeling sick and that was the reason he didn’t want to join. Liam insisted that he was telling the truth. Aladin accepted Liam’s explanation, but he still felt Liam may have had an issue with him — so he asked him bluntly. “Okay, that’s fine, but I feel like maybe you have problem. Maybe you want to tell me something,” Aladin said.
“I mean yes, I did have some complaints about you,” Liam told Aladin. “And I did make some comparisons to men in the past. It’s not that you offended me, it’s the way I’ve always been with my mother’s past relationships and you’re not any different. So I’m just going to leave it at that.”
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way airs on TLC on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
