’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Jesse Meester Shares Positive Message Amid Split From Darcey Silva
He’s staying positive! 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Jesse Meester and Darcey Silva had a very dramatic split on this week’s episode of the show, and even though things got super intense, it seems like Jesse is happy with the decision he made to break up with her. Just hours before Jesse and Darcey’s breakup played out on TV, Jesse took to Instagram to share a positive message with his fans.
“The way I see it, if you want the rainbow you gotta put yourself through the rain too!! There is no rainbow without rain!” the 25-year-old wrote, and seemed to pat himself on the back for delivering high drama on 90 Day Fiancé. “The state of TV these days fascinates me with the variety of characters and play. It should have been my thesis subject! It cracks me up and there’s great potential you don’t see as much in movies anymore. Ratings don’t lie.”
He also seemed to throw a little bit of shade at his ex-girlfriend, Darcey. “But please, if you ever find yourself victim of someone else’s issues, smallness, or insecurities, always remember things could be worse. You could be one of them!” Jesse added.
When the couple returned for Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, it seemed like it was the beginning of the end of their relationship. Almost immediately after Jesse arrived in America to visit Darcey from Amsterdam, they started fighting over seemingly small, insignificant things like how to eat a slice of pizza or the proper way to cut a steak.
They got into a blowout fight during their trip and Jesse even accused Darcey of throwing a shoe at him during their argument. But they made up right before Jesse boarded a plane to Amsterdam and it seemed like they were going to be able to work things — but Jesse eventually decided to break up with Darcey and he flew back to America to break things off in person.
