With the return of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, fans are once again immersed in the drama of Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno. They're married now, but Chantel's family is still concerned Pedro is using her for a green card. But what do you think? You might be convinced these reality stars' love story is the real deal if you follow them on Instagram. Keep reading to see their posts and to see where they are now.
Pedro's feed, for example, shows he's been getting in a lot of hours at the gym. When he's not pumping iron, though, he's spending quality time with Chantel. (They even went on a cruise together last fall, the lucky ducks!) And in his Instagram captions, he lavishes his wife with loving messages, often in Spanish. "Cada momento a tu lado es especial," he wrote in one. ("Every moment by your side is special.") "En ti encontré todo lo que necesito, te amo," he said in another. ("In you I found everything I need, I love you.")
Chantel, meanwhile, tells Instagram followers she is "really having fun in nursing school" as she tracks toward her 2019 graduation date. She has also been spending a lot of time working on her physique and posing for modeling shots (and the latter activity might explain the plastic surgery fans think she got).
She too has shared a lot of loving posts of herself and Pedro. "Everyone deserves someone or something that makes them look forward to tomorrow," she said in one caption.
But as we've seen in a teaser from this season of Happily Ever After, she too has her doubts. "I feel like I'm second in Pedro's life," she says in the clip. "He's just willing to give [his family] whatever they want to be comfortable, and my parents suspect that Pedro's family wanted him to marry me for a green card. I don't know if I totally agree with my parents, but at the same time, he does send a lot of money back."
Our fingers are crossed Chantel and Pedro stay together! But we'll be watching for other red flags as 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
