She's going back to Russia! Ever since cameras stopped rolling on 90 Day Fiancé stars Anfisa Arkhipchenko and her husband Jorge Nava, fans have been dying for an update on the infamous couple. But now, through social media and their own YouTube channel, the couple has been opening up more with vlogs— and in a recent video, Anfisa revealed that she is going back to Russia soon.
Anfisa explained that this June will mark two years that she has been in the United States, and she thinks its time for her to visit her family. "You know, you're not supposed to travel until you get your green card and it took me about seven months to get my green card," Anfisa said in her vlog. "Now finally I found a time where I can go back and see my family."
Since Anfisa is currently enrolled in college, she's using her spring break as the perfect opportunity to go back and visit her homeland, and Jorge seemed sad that she was leaving him for 10 days. Jorge can't go because he would need to get a visa and since it's such short notice, he would not be able to get one in time for the trip.
The rest of the vlog showed the couple recording themselves as they headed out to the mall, shopping for presents for Anfisa's mother and grandmother. Fans got to see a completely different side of the couple — they were sweet with each other, making lighthearted jokes, and being affectionate which is definitely not how they were portrayed on Season 2 of the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After.
Fans noticed too, and they flooded the YouTube comments with their thoughts. "This really shows how fake those shows are, it was clear that you were portrayed as 'the villain,' but this looks nothing like that," one fan wrote, and another commented, "Such a different dynamic when producers aren't creating drama."
