Though 90 Day Fiancé stars Jorge Nava and Anfisa Arkhipchenko prefer to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, Jorge’s recent incident with the law finally has them speaking out via a YouTube video to set the record straight.

On Feb. 7, TMZ reported that police arrested Jorge after they found 293 pounds of marijuana in his car, charging him with possession of marijuana for sale and transportation of marijuana for sale. After spending two nights in prison, he was released on $25,000 bail.

“The only thing I can confirm is that I was arrested on Feb. 7, and I was bailed out by my wife two days later. Other than that, due to the delicate nature of my case… I can’t talk about the details until all of this is over,” Jorge stated, adding that, “Anfisa’s green card will not be affected by what happened. She’s not going anywhere as long as she’s on my watch.”

The pair also took the opportunity to clear the air over breakup rumors. “Some time ago I made a post on my Instagram saying that I would like to keep my personal life private, but due to the crazy amount of speculation that’s going on, I just decided that it’s better to share with you that we’re still together, obviously,” Anfisa told viewers. “We’ve never really broken up. Yes, we had our fights just like any other couple, but we’re working through it. You know, everybody fights. Everybody is crazy.”

She continued, “All relationships are different, and if your relationship is different from ours, it doesn’t give you the right to judge us or insult us in any way. I would really like to thank those people that were really supportive of me and George.”

The pair ended the clip by Jorge announcing, “We’re going to be bringing you a lot more content on this YouTube channel and I hope you guys enjoy it.” Anfisa also encouraged fans to leave them questions in the comments section so that they can answer them in their next video. It looks this couple may beat the odds and live happily ever after!
