Mark your calendars! The stars of 7 Little Johnstons are returning for a new season later this month. TLC announced the exciting news on Monday, Oct. 1 — and fans are already freaking TF out. 

“The world’s largest known little family is back, and life is crazier than ever!” the network tweeted alongside a promo for the show. “Join @team7lj when #7LittleJohnstons returns for a new season Tuesday, October 30th at 8/7c!”

Immediately, people began commenting on the post, with one person writing, “YAY!!!!!” and a second adding, “FINALLY!!!” A third and fourth chimed in, “I love them! I’ll be glad to see how the kids have grown! #7LittleJohnstons” and “I ❤ this family & their show!”

Fans were given a glimmer of hope, though, when 7LJ official Twitter page shared a pic with a camera crew on Aug. 27. “Pic says it all! #thatsawrap #7littleJohnstons,” they wrote at the time. 

One anxious fan speculated, “I am just betting you’re done filming the new season. I hope it will be on soon. …I’m so excited!!  I love the 7 Little Johnstons!” Another eagerly asked, “When are you coming back??????” and a third wrote, “Yes it does. YAYAYAYAYAYAY. Do y’all know when it will air? 2018 or 2019?” Well, now we know! 

Luckily, the famous fam has been keeping us in the loop via social media while they’ve been on hiatus. Alex met a Power Ranger, Em cheerleaded in her first game, and Elizabeth — a nurse-in-training — had her first day of clinics. Still, it’ll be nice to see them back on TV!
