As fans of Teen Mom 2 already know, Leah Messer-Calvert has encouraged her two older daughters — five-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah — to follow in her footsteps by enrolling them in cheerleading classes.
But now the 22-year-old mom has been called out by fans for the “inappropriate” way she dresses her children — complete with bare midriffs, tight-fitting spandex shorts and red lipstick — and at least one psychologist agrees their outfits are potentially problematic!

“They are being pushed to dress sexy,” Dr. Judy Kuriansky tells ‘Radar Online.’ “The fit and level of exposure is inappropriate for pre-adolescent girls. It seems the dance teachers are trying to garner attention.”

Because her muscular dystrophy leaves Ali confined to a wheelchair most of the time, Aleeah is much more involved with cheerleading than her sister — and Dr. Kuriansky observes that Aleeah’s body language (and provocative poses) speak volumes to her personality and her future.
“[Aleeah] is sticking her stomach out and tilting her head, while Ali looks like a shy little girl,” the doctor notes. “There will likely be a sibling rivalry down the line.”
In addition to Ali’s ongoing health issues, these young girls have already been through a lot. Last year, ‘Teen Mom 2’ fans watched as Leah and her ex-husband, Corey Simms, faced off in court for custody of the twins.
Ultimately, it was determined that the exes will have joint custody of the twins, though Corey got an additional night per week to spend with the girls.
