NBC has cut ties with Donald Trump after the presidential candidate made controversial remarks about immigration.
The network will no longer broadcast his beauty pageants — Miss USA and Miss Universe — and the 69-year-old will no longer serve as host of Celebrity Apprentice.

“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values. Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump,” a statement from the network reads.
“To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, which are a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC. In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in The Celebrity Apprentice on NBC. Celebrity Apprentice is licensed from Mark Burnett’s United Artists Media Group and that relationship will continue.”
ICYMI: Donald Trump Is Running For President. Really.
The perennial presidential hopeful came under fire for sharing his take on the Mexican border as part of his “campaign.”
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” he said, explaining his promise to build a “great, great wall” at the USA-Mexico border should he be elected to the White House.
“They’re sending people that have a lot of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”
Donald has yet to comment on the situation.
