From start to finish, Katy Perry made us shudder in more ways than one during her 12-minute segment on ESPN's College Gameday in Oxford, Miss., today.
The 29-year-old beauty wore a furry pink-and-black football uniform during her spot as this week's "Guest Picker" and she somehow managed to make Eminem's appearance from last year seem normal. And what was with the southern accent?!
Let's talk about the outfit first shall we? We get it. She's Katy Perry. She wears some pretty weird things. We'll give her props for representing football, but she looked like she was auditioning for Sulley's forgotten little sister in Monsters Inc.
And moving swiftly on to her behavior, because she spent much of her appearance throwing corn dogs because, you know, who doesn't do that?
THEN, when asked who she thought would win the game between Oklahoma and TCU, she said, "I'm picking this one based on looks. Trevor Knight, do you hear me? The quarterback from Oklahoma we don't mind, so I'm gonna go with him."
Her desperate plea for a boyfriend didn't stop there unfortunately, as she revealed a heart-shaped prop with his photo on it and told him to "Call me." We wonder how the 20-year-old athlete's girlfriend feels about that one.
