The High School Musical alum, 29, appeared on Today shortly after the incident to relive the embarrassing ordeal.
“I never really had a pocket-checking policy prior to going on the red carpet before, but now we fully instated one,” Zac explained.
“Better to be safe than sorry,” host Matt Lauer teased, to which Zac replied, “That’s a great message to add to the many messages of the film.”

Fans were also dying to know at the time [and, to be honest, probably still] who the lucky lady was that night, and based on the timing it could have been Lily Collins, who he was rumored to date in February 2012 before his alleged fling with Alexandra Storm. However, this was awhile after he split from his Disney co-star Vanessa Hudgens — so we think it’s safe to say that she was not the woman in question.
He was spotted cozying up to his Baywatch co-star Alexandra Daddario at Sunday night’s MTV Movie & TV Awards 2017, so it’s safe to say he ~has a type~. Zac even opened up to People recently about retiring from the single life.

“I didn’t think much about settling down until recently. Now that I’m getting closer to my 30s, I’m around some great relationships and I’ve seen expert couples at work,” he told the publication.
The Neighbors actor voiced Ted in the animated flick and has since gone on to star in That Awkward Moment, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and Dirty Grandpa. It’s safe to say he’s ~matured~ from his kiddish roles!
