Champs! After a close game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV. The team took home the Vince Lombardi Trophy on Sunday, February 2, and the crowd went wild at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, which hosted Super Bowl 54.

This was the Chiefs’ fourth victory. The score was close with the 49ers at 20 and the Chiefs at 17 until around three minutes left in the second half when the Chiefs scored a touchdown. That brought the score up to 24-17.  The Chiefs’ defense then did their best to prevent the 49ers from scoring another touchdown before the clock ran out. Their hard work paid off, because they quickly regained possession of the ball and earned another touchdown, bringing the score up to 31-20 with just over a minute left on the clock. Both teams used their time outs to run down the clock until the game was officially over.

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira gave an incredible halftime show. The 50-year-old broke it down for millions as she sang a medley of her best hits while undergoing several outfit changes. J. Lo teased her big performance with a series of photos from rehearsal on Instagram on Tuesday, January 28. “I love when Lulu visits me at rehearsals … #rehearsalbelike,” she captioned the pictures, referring to the first image of her hugging her daughter.  With a star and white heart emoji, she added, “5 DAYS!!!!”

On stage, J. Lo was joined by the “Waka Waka” singer, 43. Her hips didn’t lie when she started to perform “Whenever, Wherever.” The Latin ladies equally killed it and pumped up the crowd for the last half of the game.

Shakira shared a photo of her and J. Lo at a press conference ahead of their big day on her Instagram Story. “The only thing that matters is the size of your dreams,” she captioned the post. Playing the Super Bowl is definitely a huge accomplishment in every artist’s career.

Between the nail-biting game and the incredible halftime show, Super Bowl 54 was definitely a day to remember.
