Bradley Cooper’s ex-wife Jennifer Esposito had some feelings about his and Lady Gaga’s performance of “Shallow” at the 2019 Oscars, and that wasn’t the first time that she’s shaded him since they split in 2007. In fact, back in 2014, she called him a “master manipulator” in a book that she wrote. That’s … pretty harsh, tbh, but she had reasoning to back up her description. So, who is Jennifer, exactly? She was married to Bradley, 44, for just a few months, and still doesn’t seem all that impressed with the A Star Is Born actor these days.

Jennifer, 45, is an actress. She’s known for her roles in the movie Crash and in TV shows such as NCIS and Mistresses. She’s also an author — she wrote a book titled Jennifer’s Way in 2014. It’s described as a “guide to getting a proper diagnosis for celiac disease and other autoimmune disorders, with practical tips and healing recipes.”

In Jennifer’s Way, the actress offered some insight into her relationship with Bradley. “I should have noticed the red flags from the beginning — actually, they were more like an entire marching band squad of red flags — but I ignored them because, honestly, I didn’t think the relationship was really going to go anywhere,” Jennifer wrote. “He was funny, smart, cocky, arrogant, and a master manipulator. I didn’t necessarily find him that attractive, but I figured that I could enjoy his sense of humor and nonsense for a while.” Doesn’t exactly sound like a winning relationship, huh?

More recently, when Bradley and Lady Gaga, 32, sang a duet at the 2019 Academy Awards, their performance was so riveting and intimate it caused a lot of people to question the true nature of their relationship, despite his relationship with model Irina Shayk. Later that evening, actor David Spade asked his Instagram followers, “Is there any chance these 2 aren’t f–king?” and Jennifer replied with “Ha.”

To be frank, Jennifer doesn’t seem all that impressed by her ex. But that’s just how it goes sometimes after a breakup! Both Jennifer and Bradley seem to be doing just fine without each other, and maybe one day, they’ll patch things up. (Maybe don’t hold your breath on that one, though).
