One by one, the Duggar children are growing up! Josiah Duggar — now 20 years old — is no exception to the rule, and since announcing his breakup with Marjorie Jackson, his mysterious courtship has many Counting On fans curious about what he’s doing in 2017.

The son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar recently entered into courtship — the Duggar family’s way of dating, that puts extreme emphasis on getting to know each other in the name of preparation for marriage. But since releasing a statement on the mystifying ending of his courtship with Marjorie, Josiah has been pretty mum on what he’s been up to — until now.

“The show has changed the way we live a little bit,” Josiah admitted to TLC. “I mean, we walk through a door, hey, we got to walk through it again. We didn’t do it the first time.”

After four months of courting Marjorie — a Tontitown, AR native and one of five daughters — the Duggars announced the separation in an official statement. “Marjorie and I had a good time together. We were just trying to follow God’s lead on everything,” Josiah revealed. “She didn’t feel that it was the right timing then, so we called it quits for a bit.”

Josiah, who is not an avid social media user, only has uploaded a handful of photos to his Instagram account, most of which depict him hanging out with family members. Though he had previously posted some photos of him and Marjorie together, those images have now disappeared. Thanks to a slew of Josiah-centered posts from the Duggars’ joint Facebook account, many fans believe that the new season of Counting On is going to focus on a storyline specifically around his courting.

Since the split — which is admittedly rare in the kind of courtship that the Duggar family practices — Marjorie has written a “tell-all” book entitled Devoted: A Girl’s 31-Day Guide to Good Living With a Great God. Marjorie wrote, “God sees all” communication, whether it’s one-on-one or in cyberspace, and dating requires “your dad or [any] trusted Christian spiritual leader” first to “weed out the creepers.” Many speculated that his brother Josh Duggar‘s sex scandals played a role in Marjorie’s decision to break it off with Josiah.

Could this be a sign that the usually quiet reality star is preparing to announce another courtship? Only time will tell!
