Welp, it seems like Lani Blair's apology to Khloé Kardashian didn't really mean anything, because she's still been seeing Tristan Thompson and taking thousands of dollars from him each month, a source tells In Touch exclusively. However, Tristan recently had to cut back on spending money on his (former?) sidepiece after hitting a financial snag.
"Tristan still sees Lani on the low and gives her thousands of dollars a month for clothes, her hair, mani and pedis, and some pocket change," explained the insider. "But now that Tristan got fined $25,000 by the NBA, he told her he can’t pay her and that she’s on her own for the month." Right at the end of the first Cavs/Warriors game on May 31, Tristan shoved the basketball in Draymond Green's face. He got in trouble for that action, and for failing to leave the court in a timely manner. Now he has to pay up.
Unfortunately for Tristan, Lani isn't exactly understanding about the sitch. "Lani feels he’s taking out his frustration on her," said our source. A report from before the game on May 31 claimed that "Tristan is completely emotionally and physically exhausted from the cheating allegations and of course the playoffs," and that all he's focused on right now is "winning a championship for Cleveland." Clearly that isn't going very well, since the Warriors have won the first two games. And we doubt things with Khloé are going particularly well either if he's wasting money on the woman that he cheated with and still maintaining contact with her.
While it seems obvious that Koko and Tristan are trying to make it work since they've been going on dates and Khloé has supported him at some games, she recently made it sound like it might be a different story behind the scenes. When a fan called her out for pretending to have a happy family and ignoring Tristan's indiscretions "because she loves him," Khloé clapped back. "Babe that’s not wisdom at all because you’re assuming you know who I’m talking about and you’re assuming you know my feelings. Assuming anything is anything but wisdom," she said. We're sure his spending habits will only make things worse.
