LOL! ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Star Todd Chrisley Has No Patience for Daughter Savannah’s Wedding Planning
Weddings can be overwhelming — and it seems like Chrisley Knows Best star Todd Chrisley is already over his daughter Savannah‘s big day. When it came to discussing her venue, he just had one thing to say: “Who cares?” After the 21-year-old bride-to-be took to social media to ask her fans for ideas, the father-of-five couldn’t help but weigh in. The only thing was that he didn’t exactly have anything positive to add to the conversation.
“Where do you guys think we should have our wedding?! I wanna hear your thoughts and ideas!!” Savannah wrote on Instagram on May 3, tagging her hubby, hockey player Nic Kerdiles. Though big brother Chase Chrisley had at least one suggestion — “Vegas,” he wrote in the comments — and fans were eager to weigh in, the head Chrisley didn’t know best in this situation. In fact, it seems like he’d rather not have been part of it at all.
Of course, fans weren’t about to let him off the hook that easily! “I think Todd should plan everything,” joked one. Others agreed, teasing, “You’re such a protective father, Todd. It really shows you care about your daughter. 😂” Some fans didn’t get that the dad was just playing around, though: “You should care,” criticized a commenter. “You’re paying for it and walking her down the aisle.”
But most saw exactly what was happening — and realized that Todd probably is already way too involved in the behind-the-scenes strategizing. “I’m sure dad already booked the venue. … He just hasn’t told you yet,” an Instagram user added while another told Todd, “You know you are going to govern all over that beautiful wedding!” After a few months of planning, though, maybe the dad really is just over it.
Though they didn’t share their engagement news until April 2019, Savannah’s fiancé proposed back in December 2018 with all of the couple’s family and friends (including Todd) on the scene to celebrate with them. “The fact that both of our families were there made it even better,” Savannah said at the time. Hopefully, their families can continue to be there for their big moments — wherever they end up getting married.
