‘Are You the One? Aftermatch’ Host Terrence J Weighs in on Javi Marroquin Joining the Cast! (EXCLUSIVE)
Fans were in a frenzy when Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin submitted an audition tape for MTV's reality dating series Are You the One? — and now Terrence J, who hosts the Are You the One? Aftermatch show weighed in on Kailyn Lowry's ex joining the cast for the upcoming season.
In Touch exclusively spoke with Terrence — who returned back to Viacom earlier this year to develop, host, and produce content for MTV and VH1— at Zacapa Rum's official debut of Edicion Negra, the latest sensation in rum by famed Master Blender Lorena Vasquez, at NYC's Club Macanudo on Tuesday.
"I was just getting up to speed on the Teen Mom of it all — so I watched every episode of Are You the One?, got really embedded in it, and I didn't realize how much of a cult following the Teen Mom community is!" he says. "So I think Javi would be a HUGE gift for the show because fans were going crazy for this guy — so he definitely has my vote for sure!"

The former E! News anchor also shares his excitement about being back on his old stomping grounds.
"I started my career at Viacom. I was at BET for like seven or eight years, so it's good to be back — the paychecks look the same like they used to look, just bigger!"
