In Touch has obtained a copy of a tax lien issued against Maci, stating that she owes the IRS $78,308 from 2011.

“She’s in denial,” a source tells In Touch of Maci’s financial situation. “She needs to find a way to pay back this money. She’s gotten herself into a lot of trouble.”

“She’s been telling people that she’s working on paying it back, but very little progress has been made,” another source tells In Touch, adding that Maci — who worked for MTV as an independent contractor and didn’t have taxes deducted from her paychecks — is unemployed and living off cash she makes by promoting companies on Twitter.
