‘Young and Pregnant’ Star Ashley Jones Claps Back at Jade Cline After Reunion Drama

Over the weekend, a few of the ladies from Young and Pregnant ventured to New York City to film a segment for the Teen Mom 2 reunion.

Things got awkward between Ashley and Jade when Dr. Drew asked how the cast of Young and Pregnant felt about Jade switching shows to Teen Mom 2.

Details Revealed

“Everyone said they were happy for her, with the exception of Ashley, who declined to comment,” an insider told The Ashley’s Roundup about what led to the dramatic interaction.

Trying to Intervene

“Ashley [later] started verbally attacking Jade and her family,” the source claimed, noting how Kayla Sessler then stepped in to try to diffuse the situation by telling Ashley to “let it go.”

Not Over Yet

It got so tense that a brawl almost broke out, according to the site. Afterwards, the drama continued on social media with several Teen Mom stars taking to Instagram to share their thoughts about the ordeal.

Speaking Out

Jade vented her frustrations in a since-deleted post. “I’ve given my statement on what specifically went down this weekend at the reunion to ONE place and ONE place only. This is the TRUTH, so forget any other BS you’re hearing in the rumor mill,” she began.

Throwing Shade

“There’s a clear takeaway that Ashley came ready to go at me and has an issue with me. And I don’t give a f–k about her. Jealousy’s a bitch and let’s be clear — she came on MY show’s reunion now to try to start some s–t.”

Firing Back

Jade also told Ashley to “stay in her lane” while airing her grievances. Meanwhile, Ashley also went on Instagram and shared a cryptic post about not being able to “trust” people.

Taking to Social Media

“I hate that I’m always the bad guy,” Ashley continued. “I literally give so much support and love to people. But it’s always with me the short end of the stick.”

Around the same time, Kayla shared her own statement on the matter. “I didn’t want to post anything because I knew once the reunion airs you’d all see what actually happened,” she wrote.

Clearing the Air

“But due to the amount of harassment I’ve received online over false information, I have to clear up a few things,” Kayla continued. “Ashley and I did NOT get into it over Jade. I was upset with Ashley because she brought up my kids. I feel like that was taking it too far. Before yesterday, Ashley and I had no problems.”

Releasing a Statement

Kayla said that “no one jumped anybody,” noting how MTV was keeping a very close eye to make sure a fight didn’t break out between them because it’s a liability for the network.

In a new video uploaded to YouTube, Ashley also addressed a few more points, noting how she cleared the air with Jade recently, so she didn’t “understand where the energy came from.”

Spilling the Tea

Ashley wanted to set the record straight about the whole Teen Mom 2 issue, claiming the network didn’t ask her first to appear on the other show … they just “also” gave her the offer (which she declined).

Invitation to Appear

After she agreed to appear on the reunion, Ashley said that she received a call from network executives, and they addressed how Jade had asked for more security.

Not Pleased

Ashley said they asked, “Are you OK to be on stage with her?” The reality star then mentioned how she “never brought up an issue” with Jade, so she found the question offensive.

After witnessing the drama at the reunion, Kailyn Lowry also took to Twitter, telling MTV to “stop putting girls who do not like each other on the same stage.”
