Who’s dating who again? After reports surfaced that Kailyn Lowry’s baby daddy Chris Lopez was dating another woman, both stars came forward to tell their side of the story. But as the Teen Mom 2 star claimed Chris cheated on her after they got back together, he insisted he wasn’t with someone new. Check out the gallery below to see what they both had to say.
Speculation started on Thursday, March 12, after an account called the Teen Mom Shade Room posted allegations that Chris got back together with a woman he’d been involved with in high school.

No Denials
Kail, 28, didn’t seem surprised by the news. In the comments of the post, she wrote, “They’ve been together this whole time. Nobody needs to pass this ‘tea’ along like I don’t know.”

Best Wishes
Adding a cringing emoji, she ended her comment with more than just a hint of shade. “I hope they can work it out this time!” she continued.

Called Out
After seeing Kail’s comment, some fans got the wrong idea, assuming the Teen Mom 2 star helped her baby daddy cheat on his girlfriend before getting pregnant.

According to Kail, however, that’s not exactly what happened. Though her Twitter account is still private, she explained the reality of the situation to some fans.

Funny Business
“You got this all f–king wrong,” she said on Sunday, March 15. “Me [and] him were together. He’s been lying to both of us about the other.”

“Idea,” he wrote. “Stop talking ‘bout some BS that ain’t true for ratings and drama … She [got a] new man. Let’s move on.”

Though some thought the “she” Chris was referring to was Kail, the MTV mom shut down rumors that she was seeing someone new.

Not True
“IDK. I don’t have a new man,” Kail allegedly told the Teen Mom Shade Room account when questioned. Speaking with Us Weekly, she repeated the denial.

Moving On
It’s possible the “she” he meant was the high school ex and he doesn’t want her dragged into the drama — but either way, it’s clear the situation is a messy one.
“Listen. If one of my baby dads had my child [and] I couldn’t see him for whatever reason, I’m still sending clothes, diapers, wipes, cards, whatever,” she wrote in February 2020. “And y’all [haters] are right. This was my fault [because] I had a child [with] this man. So congrats.”
