It looks like there’ll be one less mom next season. Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has had a pretty heavy storyline this season — and viewers will notice a major change to her scenes. Since her husband, David Eason, was fired from MTV last year after his homophobic tweet scandal, the 27-year-old is not able to film at home since the 30-year-old is not allowed on camera or on filming location. During an emotional conversation with her mother on the Teen Mom 2 episode that aired on Monday, February 19, Jenelle broke down in tears as she vented to her mom, Barbara Evans — and she even threatened to quit the show. “Even though I’m annoyed cameras can’t be around when David is, I’ve decided to continue filming so I’m meeting up with my mom and Jace,” Jenelle said in her voice-over.

“This show just keeps giving me bad raps,” Jenelle explained to her producer. “I want some f–king respect, dude. Like, I want some f–king respect.

“Even if I’m never on TV again — that’s fine,” Jenelle continued. “I have other s–t I’m working on. So I’m fine with that.”

“Once you push me away, everyone should know I don’t trust you again,” she explained, holding back tears. “Like, I don’t. If you hurt me enough, I won’t talk to you til you prove to me that I can trust you again.”

She said that she doesn’t trust MTV because she feels like her producers never believe her and think that everything she says is a lie.

Jenelle also complained about the way she is portrayed on the show.

“Everything they read online, that’s what they believe. And they don’t know anything about me, they don’t know what I do, how I act,” Jenelle said. “They don’t even know my favorite food anymore, they don’t know what’s going on with me mentally, physically, my health issues unless I share it.”

After venting to her mom, Jenelle threatened to quit the show.

“This will probably be my last season because I realize I don’t need MTV,” she said. “I need myself. Because I’m the only one that’s important here. This show is not important.”

“Me, myself as a person — everyone likes me. They don’t like the person they see on TV that’s always mad, always angry, always yelling around her kids,” Jenelle continued as she started to cry. “They don’t see the real me.”

Jenelle also admitted that part of the reason is because MTV won’t allow David to be on the show.

“I finally have someone who supports me and I can’t bring them? You guys shut me out from everything? Fine, you’re against me — don’t talk to me, stay the f–k away from me because I’m done,” Jenelle told her mom about MTV.

Jenelle’s husband David was fired from the show in February 2019 after he shared a controversial tweet about the LGBTQ community.

“David Eason’s personal comments do not reflect the views of MTV. With six weeks left of production on Teen Mom 2, effective immediately, we are ending our relationship with him,” the network said in a statement released via Twitter.
