‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Javi Marroquin Pays Tribute to His “True Love” Barbara Evans on Instagram

Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin shouted out his "true love" on Instagram on Monday — and while he wasn't talking about Kailyn Lowry (unfortunately), he was referring to his fellow MTV co-star Barbara Evans.

Babs, who is the mother of Jenelle Evans, embraced the father-of-one in the snap with a big hug.

"Since there's a brand new episode of Teen Mom 2 tonight, I thought I'd throw it back to two years ago when I was with my true love," he captioned the above image.

It's no secret that Javi — who is a member of the United States Air Force — is going through a hard time in his love life these days. He revealed last week that he split from his girlfriend, Cassie Bucka, after only one month of dating.

“She’s amazing, but Cassie has been really hurt in the past so it’s hard for her to not think that she’ll be hurt again. I don’t think she was ready for everything to come at her at once,” he told Radar Online last week. “She’s an amazing girl though and if she ever does allow someone to love her that’ll be a lucky guy. I hope it’ll be me, but not right now I guess.”

While fans were hoping he and Kail — who are parents to a three-year-old son, Lincoln — could reconcile, Javi shut down those hopes on Twitter.

"I don't know where the rumor started about me and Kail getting back together. No. Never," he wrote. "Not trying to disrespect but we are much happier apart."

The former couple confirmed back in May that they would split after four years of marriage. Both parties accused each other of cheating during their time together.
