The moment Taylor Swift released a clip of “Gorgeous” on Instagram, fans immediately began debating who the baby is in the song. The very first line of the hit sounds like a toddler saying the word “gow-gus.” That’s baby speak for gorgeous, in case you didn’t know. But, that’s really what it sounds like! All we hear is a little kid with a mouthful of Cheerios who decided to be a featuring act on the 27-year-old’s hit song.

The “Look What You Made Me Do” songstress finally confirmed that baby voice is none other than James Reynolds — the two-year-old daughter of Gossip Girl alum Blake Lively and Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds. Taylor confirmed this speculation in the booklet for her latest album, Reputation, which is out now. The singer has literally made a career out of writing confessional music while playing coy in the press. Sure she can name drop exes in songs like “Dear John” and “Style” but when it comes to talking about her romantic life (or in this case baby singers) in the press? Mum’s the word.

We have to rely on Swifties to put the clues together. But, sometimes when we’re lucky Tay leaves us a crumble. Previously, a fan asked the star via Tumblr about the baby’s identity and she responded with simply, “300 people know.” This number alluded to the number of people who attended her “Secret Session” listening parties.

One fan tweeted at the time, “Taylor Swift has managed to get a six second clip of a baby and some weird instrument stuck in my head all day I hate her.” That little baby is seriously so catchy though…
