Wow. Stassi Schroeder basically confirmed her fans’ worst fears on Dec. 11 when she admitted that she “starves herself” to stay thin. “I’m really lazy. I stay thin by trying to starve myself for the most part, if I’m being honest,” she admitted to Daily Mail Australia during her trip to Sydney. “When I’m home in Los Angeles, it’s like one meal a day. But when I go out of town or on work trips, it’s breakfast, lunch and dinner.” Girl, that’s not okay!

Fans have been worrying about the Vanderpump Rules star’s health for months, as she’s been looking scary skinny since splitting from boyfriend Patrick Meagher in August. In September, she stepped out at the Los Angeles premiere of Flatliners with stick-thin legs, super-sharp collarbones, and bony shoulders. Watch the video below to see her shocking transformation.

Before Stassi admitted her unhealthy dieting habits, her ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor said he thought she was doing better than ever. “She’s good, I mean I know she’s going back and forth with Patrick and I don’t hang out with Stassi a lot, but when I do she seems like she’s okay,” he told In Touch exclusively. “I think Stassi is such an independent person and she’s very driven, she’s motivated, and she’s got such a successful podcast.”

As a matter of fact, Jax thought she was wayyy better off without Patrick. “I don’t think Patrick was the one because he just didn’t support her, didn’t motivate her,” he explained. “It was a constant struggle to get him to film. He just didn’t have her back, and I think in a relationship you should have your girlfriend’s back. I think she will find somebody someday, I just think right now she’s doing really well with everything else, from what I see.”

Unfortunately, we now know that isn’t the case. In a blog post she admitted that another of her skinny tricks is to “do juices every single day in addition to what I already eat, but when I have to look particularly lean, I cut out the solids and do juices & lots of water for a day,” she explained. “I like to sit in a sauna for a good length of time and sweat everything out. And let’s not forget a good spray tan!” Juicing is great, but not if you’re only eating one real meal a day!
