She’s not having it. Maddie Brown shared a new photo of her baby bump on August 8 and got very chatty with her followers in the comments. “38 weeks and some change,” the Sister Wives star captioned the post. “Officially on baby watch I guess … 😂.” In the replies, someone wrote to the young mom, “Hope you are going to a hospital this time. A much more enjoyable experience for you and baby! Much love from Texas.” Despite the final sentence, Maddie was certainly not feeling the love. “I think an enjoyable experience is birthing how I want to birth,” she clapped back. Go, mama!

In another response, someone else wrote, “I hope you are getting an epidural this time???” and Maddie simply replied, “Why?” to that follower. Really, people – it’s none of your business!

Maddie, 23, had a very long labor with her first son, Axel. The whole thing was filmed for the TLC reality series her family stars in, and she admittedly looked pretty uncomfortable in the footage. In the end, she went through a total of 72 hours of labor before welcoming her baby boy in May 2017. “She’s taken such good care of herself during the pregnancy, so not to have a fast labor — so hard,” Christine Brown said on the show.

On a related note, when one fan asked Maddie on Instagram in mid-July, “Are you planning on another home birth? You did so amazing last time!” she responded, “Maybe it’s something you have to wait to see.” It wasn’t clear whether she just hadn’t decided yet, or if she was telling the person to wait and watch happens on Sister Wives in the future.

But ultimately, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of Maddie’s experience or what they think she should do this time around. When she and her husband, Caleb Brush, welcome their baby girl, we hope Maddie gets to have her daughter according to what she has planned, and that both mom and baby are healthy and happy when it’s all said and done.
