Pink or blue? Sister Wives star Maddie Brown and her husband, Caleb Brush, are expecting their second child and the couple took to Instagram with an adorable gender reveal on April 16. The lovebirds announced the big news by sharing a photo of them in front of a floral background.
“Looks like its going to be little hair bows! 😊💮🌺 Baby GIRL Brush will join us mid August,” the pregnant reality star, 23, captioned the sweet snap tagged at Blooming Baby 4D Ultrasound Studio and Boutique. Maddie and Caleb are already proud parents of a darling son named Axel James, so this will be an entirely new experience for the couple and obviously, they are overjoyed!
Maddie, the daughter of Kody Brown and Janelle Brown, revealed how over-the-moon she is to give Axel a baby sister in the near future. “We are both extremely excited,” the TLC alum told People in an update. The reveal was held over Skype from the couple’s North Carolina abode to Flagstaff, Arizona, and apparently other family members from all over the country Skyped in too. In order to find out the sex of their bundle of joy, they set off poppers — which exploded in pink confetti.
Caleb said that he was totally shocked to find out they were having a baby girl, noting how he’s both excited and nervous about the new adventure. “Caleb’s family was really surprised and extremely excited,” Maddie added. “[My family] was a 50/50 split of people who guessed girl and people who guessed boy.”
Just a few days ago, Maddie shared a glowing snap showing off her newfound curves. “Bump update! Baby Brush is getting big! Just shy of 22 weeks,” she wrote. The couple first announced their pregnancy news back in January and we can’t wait to see their bundle of joy soon!
