Ever since the world was introduced to Scott Disick, or Lord Disick as he likes to be called, we’ve had a front row seat at his roller coaster of a love life, from his on-again, off-again relationship with Kourtney Kardashian to all his rumored flings with supermodel girlfriends. In case it wasn’t obvious, Scott is a bit of a f–k boi (hey, we might as well just admit it), and typical of men like him, he fashions himself as a globetrotting casanova, who drinks hard, parties hard, and is so mesmerizing to the ladies that they flock to him like he’s a walking pint of Häagen-Dazs. After all, isn’t that why he has so many rumored girlfriends? Uh, wrong. And also, ew. Not everyone wants to date Scott, OK?
Although he jokingly called himself a “sex addict” during an episode of KUWTK once, he maintains his “gargantuan appetite” for women is all normal. But the more he surrounds himself with women (like literally any woman), the more people start making unflattering assumptions about said women — even the ones who want nothing to do with him. And honestly, we’re getting sort of sick of it. Scott, a 34-year-old dad of three, isn’t exactly high on any “eligible bachelors” list. (Just sayin’.)
Let’s take Amber Rose, for instance. Rumors started spreading in 2016 that Amber followed Scott on Twitter because she was interested in him. She later denied those theories and had to embarrassingly admit in public something along the lines of, “Oh, ew, never.”
She explained the whole story on the _ Allegedly_ podcast: “This is the thing with Scott, which is really unfortunate because I didn’t want to be in that messy situation, I met him three times. He’s a really cool guy. I met him through mutual friends. We’ve never hung out together alone or nothing like that. We’re not close. I don’t know him like that.”
So, according to Amber, not only are they practically strangers, they’re not even acquaintances. How does a rumor like that start from a woman simply existing within Lord Disick’s presence? Oh, but the rumors get worse. In 2011, he was also linked with The Hills star Kristin Cavallari, who told Access Hollywood that the rumors were “gross.”
“It’s 100 percent not true,” Kristin said at the time. “I just think, what convenient timing for them with their show premiering next week and with everything that’s going on for Kim [Kardashian], I feel like they’re trying to take the heat off her.”

Kristin, who’s married to Jay Cutler, was none too happy with the gossip, and we don’t blame her. However, neither Scott nor the Kardashians did anything to deny the rumors, which wasn’t exactly cool of them. And so slowly you start to see how the “everyone wants to bone Scott” narrative begins.
And Amber and Kristin aren’t even the craziest ties. Scott has also been tied to Real Housewives of New York‘s Luann de Lesseps, who was accused of flirting with Scott at a party. “Me?” she said, bewildered when Andy Cohen asked her about the rumor. “No. We were at the same restaurant but there was no canoodling going on.” Even Luann’s longtime pal, Kelly Bensimon, had to jump in on the action by clarifying on Twitter that Luann was not flirting with Scott. Do people really think simply being within the same hemisphere as Scott makes women quiver in his presence?

But probably the lowest was when it speculated that Kylie and Kendall Jenner were dating Scott — that’s right, the little sisters of his former girlfriend. Keep in mind, Scott has known both of them since they were tweens, but once pictures of Kylie and Scott partying together emerged a few years ago, people were back to the rumors. Did little Kylie fall prey to the unstoppable allure of Scott? Uh, no, of course not because ew. “That’s disgusting,” Kylie said when asked about the rumor. “Oh my God, don’t ever ask me anything like that ever again!” Kendall shared the same, if not more subdued, sentiment: “I didn’t even know that [rumor] existed. I was 19. That was two years ago. Definitely false though.”
However, as much as we feel bad about all the hapless victims stuck in Scott’s perpetual “six degrees of separation” dating wheel, we’re curious to know what Scott thinks on the matter. Is he the one throwing himself at these women? Is he the one stringing this narrative around? Well, according to him, no. “It’s unfortunate that you can’t have friends in this day in age,” he said in 2016 about all his dating rumors.
And there’s a bigger piece to the “Scott is a womanizer” story. For one, in 2012, he admitted to Oprah Winfrey that most of his “jerk” behavior stems from being insecure. “I like to put up a wall or front, make [people] think I’m more confident and secure than I am,” he told her. “But I am insecure about a lot of things.” Perhaps the reason everyone thinks women are throwing themselves at Scott is because we’re believing the lie he has sold us, this lie that he’s a jet-setting casanova who’s setting dollar bills on fire and beating women off with a stick. And if that’s the case, then he’s more clever at building this image than we realized.
Honestly, Scott can do whatever he wants in his personal life, whether it’s hanging about with Bella Thorne or hanging out on yachts with models. And now that Scott is in an actual confirmed relationship with Sofia Richie, maybe everyone can stop trying to link him with every woman he takes a picture with. We’re sure those women will appreciate it.
