Since checking into rehab earlier this year, Ryan Edwards and his family have remained incredibly tight-lipped about what drugs he was using — and potentially abusing — though during one scene when the father-of-one seemingly drove under the influence while on his way to his wedding to Mackenzie Standifer.

During that scene, his then wife-to-be can be heard asking him if took Xanax, a prescription pill used to treat anxiety and panic disorder.

However, some fans have begun to speculate that it’s something more sinister — after sharing multiple picture of what they believe to be “track marks” on his arm (aka needle marks often associated with intravenous drug use).

“I noticed it too when he was playing with the remote control car. I had to rewind to see if I was imagining it but the marks definitely there,” one Facebook fan wrote. “Really hope he gets the help he needs because that was downright scary watching him drive like that.”

“I talk to [my husband] Taylor about it like, ‘I wonder if today’s going to be the day that Ryan does something that he can’t come back from?’” she said to her Teen Mom OG co-stars. Later while having a private conversation with her husband during the same episode, she added, “I’m just going to be like, ‘You have to go to rehab.’ Right now is legitimately about saving his life. Most night, I’m crying in our bed talking to you about whether or not today is the day that he’s going to die or when I’m going to do something about it or how I should do something about it.”

Fortunately, Ryan did go to rehab. Earlier this week, he released a statement on his condition.

“A little over 30 days ago, I made the decision to check myself into a rehabilitation facility,” He said. “I am back home now doing well, and life could not be better. Without the support of my wife and parents, I would not have been able to do this. Thank you all for your well wishes.”

We’re so grateful Ryan got the help he needed.
