That has hurt! Ronda Rousey took to Instagram on Tuesday, August 20, to share a gruesome photo of her nearly severed finger after a freak accident on the set of Fox’s 911. You can see the injury here, but we have to warn you, the pic is pretty graphic.

“The word is out, I nearly lost my finger shooting @911onfox,” wrote the professional wrestler, 32, under a picture displaying her injured phalange in a hospital gown. “Freak accident, first take of the day a boat door fell on my hand, I thought I just jammed my fingers so I finished the take before looking (I know it sounds crazy, but I’m used to live audiences and never showing pain unless I’m supposed to) after a break in the action I told our director the situation and was rushed via ambulance to the hospital where they promptly reattached my bone and tendon with a plate and screws.”

Ronda was a real trooper and said she headed back to set the very next day despite her injury and intense pain. “I returned to filming the next day and finished my scenes before returning home to recover,” she said. The star added that she is already feeling better, “Modern medicine amazes me, I already had 50% range of motion back in 3 days.”

Fans sent the blonde beauty well wishes in the comments and praised her for being so strong. “You’re such a savage. Finished the take 💪🏻💪🏻 heal up quick @rondarousey 🤗,” read one of the many supportive comments.

Although the actress suffered a massive casualty, it doesn’t seem like she is holding a grudge toward the network and even plugged the show in her caption. “There’s so much more than I can write here, stayed tuned via @rondarouseydotcom for the full story. And of course, tune in to see how well I can act like my finger didn’t just fall off in this upcoming season of @911onfox.” Fox declined In Touch’s request for comment about the accident.
