Jennifer Lopez and Drake continue to flaunt their new relationship — and Rihanna is fuming!
The 28-year-old is not happy that her ex-boyfriend is dating her former friend and In Touch has learned she feels like their new fling is “the ultimate betrayal.”
The “Needed Me” singer was in an on-again, off-again relationship with the 30-year-old rapper for seven years and she even considered J.Lo as a close friend — but now that the 47-year-old is hooking up with her ex, RiRi is over their friendship.
“Rihanna and Jennifer used to be good friends. She’s even confided in J.Lo about her rocky relationship with Drake over the years. Rihanna is very hurt,” a source exclusively reveals to In Touch, adding she even "branded her former pal a traitor.”
She even went as far as calling the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer “desperate” for hooking up with Drake.
Rumors about J.Lo’s fling with the “One Dance” singer started swirling last month when he was spotted at two of Jennifer’s Las Vegas residency shows. They even posed for a selfie together at one of her concerts and they’ve been spotted together in public over the last couple of weeks.
J.Lo even canceled her own New Year’s Eve concert in Miami, and at the time, her manager cited her reasons for cancelling was because she wanted to spend time with her family. But fans quickly learned the real reason why she didn’t want to perform on New Year’s — she wanted to spend the holiday with Drake at his concert at the Hakkasan nightclub in Las Vegas.
Multiple witnesses saw Drake and Jennifer arrive at the nightclub at around 10 p.m. and they had dinner together. After an outfit change, J.Lo watched her new boyfriend perform from a V.I.P section behind the stage and she was there when he publicly dissed his former girlfriend. During his set, Drake's DJ started playing his hit single "Work," a song he collaborated on with Rihanna. But about halfway through the song, he cut the DJ off and told him that song reminded him of an old, 2016 vibe and he was ready to move onto something new.
